Drawing room. MARY and VICTORIA come in mid-conversation.
MARY: | (Off.) It’s no trouble at all… |
VICTORIA: | (Off.) Mary. I’ll take them up in a minute. |
MARY: | Of course. |
VICTORIA: | Where is everyone? |
MARY: | Your father is in his study, and Elizabeth and Henry should be back any minute. |
VICTORIA: | Justine? |
MARY: | She is out with William. |
VICTORIA takes it all in. | |

It’s very quiet. | |
MARY lingers at the door. | |
MARY: | I’m glad you are back. |
VICTORIA: | Thank you, Mary. |
