How to Cite a Blog in Harvard Style

Students are encouraged to consult academic blogs to discover new and compelling data that has yet to be published as a book or as an article in an academic journal.

To cite a blog post you will need the following:

Author name
Date of publication
Title of blog post
Title of blog
URL

Format for citing a blog post: Harvard style

Surname, Initial(s). (Year of publication) ‘Title of blog post’, Blog Title, Day Month of post. Available at: URL (Accessed: Day Month Year).

For example:
