In dieser Zeit hat er wesentlich dazu beigetragen, dass die Diakonieforschung in neuer BlĂŒte steht. Die hier versammelten BeitrĂ€ge stellen einen Querschnitt durch seine diakoniehistorischen Arbeiten dar und bilden zugleich eine "kleine" Geschichte der Diakonie im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. Dabei wird der Bogen von den AnfĂ€ngen im 19.
