- āŗ General visual inspection ā listen for abnormal noises.
- āŗ Visual/oil level and condition. Replace oil and filter at specified intervals.
- āŗ Visual/inspections for oil leakage.
- āŗ Visual/inspection of exhaust smoke ā at idle speed at mid-engine speed (3000 rpm) on overrun during road test.
- āŗ Engine oil pressure test ā check warning light operates (attach a pressure gauge and adapter and tachometer) ā pressure at idle speed ā stabilized pressure ā stabilized pressure engine rpm.
- āŗ Crankcase ventilation system ā check condition of hoses (visual and remove hoses and valves) ā orifice to inlet manifold clear ā air cleaner condition ā control valve condition.
- āŗ Check coolant level and specific gravity.
- āŗ Check brake operation and pad/disc condition ā record thickness.
- āŗ Check tyre tread depths.
- āŗ Torque wheel nuts ā include torque figures and calibration date of torque wrench.
