19Arranging further contacts with a company

Mr Collins
Thank you very much for your help this morning, Mr Vine. I think we’ve made a lot of progress on the matter of financing the deal.
Mr Vine
Yes, I agree. It’s been useful to clear the air after the initial difficulties we experienced. Presumably, this will not be our last meeting as we must await the final decision and then act quickly.
Mr Collins
Indeed. Do you have any idea of when that will be?
Mr Vine
I’ve been promised an answer by the end of June, so if we say early July there will still be a couple of weeks before we close for the summer vacation.
Mr Collins
Fine. How about Monday the 3rd?
Mr Vine
I can’t make the morning, but I shall be free all afternoon. More importantly, the main people involved will be able to work on the final proposals that week. If we need to develop our plans further, bringing in other companies or arranging further contacts, there should be time enough to do that.
Mr Collins
Shall we say 2 p.m. here? In the meantime we can still explore the possibilities or value of involving other parties both within and outside our companies.
Mr Vine
Very well. I’ll get that organized. I’ll give you a ring by the 14th to confirm everything we might know by then.
Mr Collins
Right. Thanks again.... Can I get to the carpark by going straight down in the elevator?
Mr Vine
Yes. First floor, first door on the left. See you in July if not before.

M.Colbert
Tout Ă  fait. Sauriez-vous quand cela pourrait ĂȘtre?
M...
