“Why
does
language
occur?”
and
“How
does
language
occur?”
Logically,
Skinner’s
work
would
be
the
one
to
provide
an
answer
to
the
first
question,
as
language
is
indeed
a
behavior,
which
as
humans
exhibit.
On
the
other
hand
Chomsky’s
work
would
be
explaining
the
second
question,
as
language
is
a
rule-governed
system.
Of
course,
it
is
a
hard
task
to
list
down
and
acknowledge
all
of
the
experts
who
have
worked
and
still
to
this
day
work
in
the
field
of
psycholinguistics.
Nevertheless,
I
will
make
an
attempt
to
make
a
footnote
of
the
most
popular
ones
throughout
the
chapters.
