Este libro es un manual introductorio a la Filosofía de la Política. Trata teoréticamente, de manera orgánica y original, tanto algunas cuestiones fundamentales de la política y el derecho público, como ciertas teorías que –en la modernidad y la posmodernidad– han tenido y siguen teniendo un peso decisivo en las orientaciones políticas y las consiguientes elecciones organizativas u ordinamentales. Del análisis brotan las rationes y, simultáneamente, los errores de método y de mérito de muchas doctrinas políticas y iuspublicísticas contemporáneas respecto de los temas fundamentales: naturaleza y fin de la comunidad política, bien común, relación política/economía, poder constituyente, etc. Surge también que, aun en su diversidad, las ideologías políticas como liberalismo, radicalismo, socialdemocracia, marxismo o personalismo presentan un mínimo común denominador que el presente volumen determina con un análisis ajustado.
