aspects of the credit and collection professional’s job. However it
must be done. Thus, a good understanding of what’s involved and
what can be done when a customer goes bankrupt is crucial. It is impor-
tant to realize that just because you have been paid, you are not free and
clear. As implausible as it may seem, under certain circumstances the
bankruptcy court can and does require creditors to pay back funds received
from a customer who has filed for bankruptcy protection.While some
find the topic unpleasant, many others find it fascinating.
