About the Author

Claire Ellis is a writer, editor and animal lover. From an early age, she found comfort and joy in creative writing, letting her imagination run wild through stories and poetry. She pursued a career in financial journalism, and as the pressures and demands of life and work took their toll, the creative writing hit a wall. Falling into and emerging from a dark place enabled Claire to reconnect with her inner purpose, and discover how her life could be truly fulfilling by doing what she loves. She reconnected with poetry and writing. This switched on the light that went out inside.
