About This Book

Collection: What the Bible Says About…
If this is your first contact with this collection, I welcome you first of all! May God speakdeeply to you as you go through each page. May the Holy Spirit amplify even more the reach of your spiritual eyes.
This collection consists of the elucidation of certain subjects based on the Holy Bible. Currently, the Church of Jesus is partially divided into ideas. We all classify ourselves as Christians, but I notice that unity of faith is still lacking.
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4: 11-13 (Added emphasis)
It was for this reason that the need to clarify some points based on what the Scriptures says, far from any exclusive or "special" human interpretation. The Bible is the complete and sufficient revelation of the gospel for man, so any inclusion by the human being is secondary and must be invalidated if it proves to be heretical.
And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
Revelation 22: 19
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3: 16, 17
Feel free to check out each of the topics of this work in your own Bible. With your own eyes discover the truths revealed by the Lord and renew your way of thinking. Happy studying!

What is the Holy Spirit?
The best way to ask would be "who is the Holy Spirit?” He is a person. More specifically, the third person of the Trinity that forms the only triune God: God the Father (who presented Himself under several names to humanity), God the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit of God.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
2 Corinthians 13:14
He is God's own spirit so that He knows all the Creator's thoughts and desires. He is one with the Father and the Son.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:11
He is poured out by Christ into his Church. Everyone who is saved carries within him the constant presence of the Holy Spirit.
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
1 Corinthians 6:19,20
The Holy Spirit is infinitely powerful and carries with Him the fullness of God the Father and God the Son. This sweet spirit of consolation is the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of[e] his Spirit who lives in you.
Romans 8:11
Besides the colossal power of the Holy Spirit, those who are saved carry within themselves the promise of salvation. The saved ones are sealed with the Holy Spirit. This means that Christians have the mark that distinguishes the unbelievers.
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who a deposit is guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession— to the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 1:13,14
Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the Encourager (Consoler or Counselor in other translations). Christ reveals to his disciples that the death on the cross besides promotes peace between God and men, allows the Father's Spirit to dwell within His children.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever — the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
John 14:16,17
To be the dwelling place of the Consoler is a wonderful thing! He is constantly molding us to become like Jesus. We can also call this intense work "the good work".
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
Romans 8:29
The word "image" quoted in Romans 8:29 can also be interpreted in its original root (eikōn) as "an equal image." The same word in Greek is applied in passages that refer to a statue or figure, in other words, something that represents fairly something else (Matt. 22:20; Rom. 1:23).
In conclusion, the Holy Spirit is the most powerful living spirit of Father God himself and, mysteriously at the same time, of his Son, who resides in those who one day repent of their wicked ways repent of their evil ways and are converted to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Since when does the Holy Spirit exist?
Just like God the Father and God the Son, the Comforter has existed from eternity.
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
Hebrews 9:14 (Added emphasis)
He participated in all the creative processes of the universe.
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Genesis 1:2
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Genesis 1:26 (Added emphasis)
Which are the characteristics of the Holy Spirit?
The first thing we should realize is that He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, meaning that He can do whatever everywhere at the same time and knows absolutely everything. These are the same attributes of God the Father and God the Son.
For with God nothing will be impossible.
Luke 1:37 (omnipotence)
O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
Psalm 139:1 (omniscience)
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
Psalm 139:7 (omnipresence)
So far, we have emphasized its power. Now it is good to remember that the sweet Spirit also has feelings, not contaminated by sin, of course.
And do not grieve the H...
