About This Book
"Whether we believe or not but one thing is quite true that there are hardly a few individual personalities in the world history who are remembered even today with passing of the years and Md. Ali Jinnah is one of them. While Pakistanis generally see him as the Quaid-i-Azam, the Great leader or father of their nation, Indians often regard him as a villain who led down his people into the unforgivable sin against their nationalist faith. His figure is similarly raised among distinguished foreign scholars, who are impartial by national commitment. Sir Penderal Moon has written: "There is, I believe, no historical parallel for a single individual affecting such a political revolution; and his achievement is a striking refutation of the theory that in the making of history the individual is of little or no significance. It was Mr. Jinnah who created Pakistan and undoubtedly made history". A reappraisal of the deeds of Md. Ali Jinnah has been attempted in the present study. "
