Starting in 1965, I served as a leader for a youth conservation camps, and in 1991, I chaired the launch of the Institute for Conservation Leadership dedicated to serving the leadership of conservation, and environmental organizations across the spectrum. The notion of training, and equipping the next generation has been the central purpose in these efforts. The Institute for Conservation Leadership continues their vital work to this day.
