About This Book

The intention of the Jerusalem Temple was to bring Humanity together in worship of the Most High and to be a resting place for the Ark of the Covenant. King Salomon, aided by his friend King Hiram of Tyre and Master Architect, Hiram Abiff (the son of a widow of Naphtali), form a Holy Triarchy to ensure that the greatest temple built is a suitable dwelling place for God. In undertaking this task, each is entrusted with a component of the name of the Most High that can only be uttered when the three unite upon the Temple's completion. Queen Balkis of Sheba, seeking wisdom and the secrets of a Master Mason, contrives the Chief Architect's murder, so ensuring the ineffable name of the Most High is lost to Mankind. The Widow's Son and the Lost Word relates an enduring tale of eternal hope, resurrected from the dust of death and despair.

The Heinous Deed is Done

The three Fellow Craft, those men,
now moved to their positions.
With Satan deep in all their hearts,
they were devoid of all compassion.
One hid at the Southern Gate,
he yielded a single tool.
Within his murderous, evil hand,
he held a great plumb-rule.
Another stood by the Western Gate,
with a level in his hand.
And as he waited there alone,
evil o’ertook this man.
The last he stood at the Eastern Gate,
of the Sanctum Sanctorum Holy.
In his hand he had a setting maul,
contemplating his deed most gory.
His prayer complete, Hiram arose,
he bowed his final bow.
He turned around and would depart,
the Lord’s Will be done somehow.
The first of the Fellow Craft,
stepped forth and grabbed his man.
He shook the Widow’s only Son,
a plumb-rule in his hand.
“Thou Architect of the land of Tyre,
I am a desperate man!
Tell me the Secrets of a Master Mason,
else I strike thee with this hand!”
“Thou poor misguided Fellow Craft,
Jubelo is thine name.
Let the Lord God’s Will be done,
for our fate shall be the same.
“My life is but a temporal state;
thou may it this night take.
But I shall ever to God be true,
even for His own Name’s sake.
“The Secrets of a Master Mason,
are known to but a few.
’Though my life you may well take,
this I shall not tell you.”
“So be it,” then cried Jubelo,
and struck him a mighty blow.
With blood trailing from his left temple,
to the West Gate did he go.
There the second Fellow Craft,
stepped forth and grabbed his man.
He shook the Widow’s only Son,
brandishing a level in his hand.
“Thou Architect of t...
