Tenses
It is form of a verb that denotes time an action takes place and its degree of completeness.
To specify time an action takes place, tenses can be divided into three forms:
1.Past Tense
2.Present Tense
3.Future Tense
To specify the degree of completeness, further tenses are categorized in four forms:
1.Indefinite
2.Continuous
3.Perfect
4.Perfect Continuous
Past Indefinite Tense
This tense is used to refer to the actions or habits that occurred in the past. Or
Past indefinite tense is used to describe an action, an event that has happened at some point in the past.

Examples of past indefinite tense
The convicts escaped from prison last week.

Present Indefinite Tense
It is used to express action happening in the present time. It does not give a clear picture when the action gets completed that is why it is called indefinite.
