Expertinnen und Experten diskutieren die Herausforderungen bei der Erhaltung von Werken der Moderne. Anhand von 24 herausragenden Beispielen werden verschiedene Restaurierungsansätze vorgestellt. Dazu gehören unbekannte Trouvaillen wie die Calouste-Gulbenkian-Stiftung in Lissabon oder das Wohnhaus, das Juan O'Gorman fur seinen Vater in Mexiko gebaut hat – Eingriffe, die die Authentizität der Architektur respektieren.
