However, the narration mainly focuses on the history of the 10th Infantry Division in August 1914 – the departure to the concentration area and the fighting in the first month of the war. Bartosz Kruszy?ski also provides the perspective of the opponent, the French (Paris) 7th Infantry Division. Of great value is the fact that the military operations have been presented from the perspectives of German and French soldiers. The text is supplemented by maps and unique iconography.
