Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) è una tipica applicazione di rete di sensori per l'assistenza sanitaria, consiste di molti elementi legati al corpo, come il terminale personale, i sensori del corpo e l'attrezzatura di rete distribuita vicino, sul o dentro il corpo. BAN può monitorare con successo la salute del corpo umano, è considerato come una delle tecniche di supporto vitale che può risolvere la popolazione anziana bruscamente accelerata e l'iperinflazione delle spese mediche. Tuttavia, a causa della rete mobile WBAN c'è un problema di efficienza energetica. Questo studio è stato analizzato i protocolli di routing proattivo e reattivo misurando il rapporto di consegna dei pacchetti, il ritardo E2E, il throughput E2E e il consumo energetico utilizzando il software NS2 e simulandoli.
