Your ChromeBook has a large collection of multimedia apps available. You’ll find these apps on your app launcher, and many more can be downloaded from the play store.

In this section we’ll take a look at taking photos with your camera app, downloading apps, ebooks, movies, tv programmes and listening to music.

Google Play Store

Google Play allows you to search for and download digital media such as music, books, movies, and television programs, as well as apps and games.

You’ll find the play store on your app launcher. Click the app launcher icon on the bottom left, then click the arrow in the top middle to open it up fully.

Click the play store icon to start the app.

The play store will open in Google Chrome.

Play Music

Using the play music app you can purchase individual tracks and albums from the play store, or you can stream any music you like if you subscribe to ‘play music’.

Click the ‘play music’ icon.

Google play music will open in Google Chrome.

Downloading Music

To download tracks and albums, you’ll need to go to the Google Play Store.

Open the Google Play Store from your app launcher, and select ‘music’ from the selections listed down the left hand side
